I love Coconut Oil.....Let me count the ways!

Hey fellow Diva's, I received my gifted Coconut Oil from Tropical Traditions last week. I have really pondered what the best way to review this amazing oil would be. There are so many uses for Coconut Oil.I have decided to share one use each day for the next 10 days! What are your favorite ways to use Coconut Oil?

#1 Oil Pulling for a Brighter Smile and Better Health

Here is an article by author Bruce Fife, that I wanted to share:

“That sounds ridiculous,” exclaimed Rick in disbelief. “It will never work. How could it? It doesn’t make any sense.” Rick suffered from chronic sinusitis. At night when lying down, his nose would stop up, making it difficult for him to breathe and to sleep. The congestion also caused him to experience frequent headaches.

The therapy I was telling him about was oil pulling. Although oil pulling has its origins in Ayurvedic medicine, which dates back thousands of years, this modern version is relatively new, at least in the United States. Oil pulling is very simple. Basically all you do is rinse your mouth out with coconut oil, much like you would with a mouthwash. As simple as it sounds, if done correctly it has a very powerful cleansing and healing affect not only on the mouth and sinuses, but the entire body.

A few days later, Rick called me on the phone. “Wow! This oil pulling stuff really works,” he exclaimed. “My sinuses began to drain immediately. I expelled a lot of dark yellow, gross looking mucous. I’m breathing easier and sleeping better and my headaches are gone!”

I wasn’t surprised with Rick’s success. I hear many similar responses from others with various health problems. “I was skeptical at first,” says Cynthia. “I couldn’t see how swishing oil in my mouth could help with my arthritis. After eight days I noticed the pain in my hands diminished considerably. There was also marked improvement in my neck and I could move my head from side to side without any pain. I was amazed at how quickly I got results. I haven’t felt this good in along time!”

Some people think I’m crazy when I tell them that oil pulling can help those with asthma, allergies, chronic fatigue, diabetes, migraine headaches, PMS, and chronic skin problems. Oil pulling works by detoxifying or cleansing the body. In this way, disease promoting toxins are removed, thus allowing the body to heal itself. As a consequence, health problems of all types improve.

“I’ve suffered for several years with joint and lower back pain,” says Anna. “Every morning it was difficult getting out of bed because the pain. After two months of oil pulling the pain is all but gone. I’m amazed. Although I began oil pulling to relieve the joint pain, a few other things happened that I didn’t expect. I’m surprised to see that the eczema on my arm and hand disappearing and my skin becoming smoother and softer. Nothing I had tried before had helped. I sleep better at night too, so I have more energy during the day. I no longer need my mid-day naps. I have so much energy I almost feel like a teenager again. My periods have become more regular with less cramping and less mood swings. Also, my teeth, gums, and tongue are cleaner than they’ve ever been.”

The first thing that most people notice when they start oil pulling is an improvement in their oral health. Teeth become whiter, breath becomes fresher, and the tongue and gums take on a healthy pink color. Even problems such as bleeding gums, tooth decay, and gum disease are greatly diminished or completely healed.

“I had a really bad infection in my mouth,” says Brittany. “It was so painful that I could not sleep. Pain medication helped temporarily. I was sure that I needed another root canal. After hearing about oil pulling I decided to give it a try before going to the dentist. I began oil pulling three times a day. By the very next day the pain was gone! No soreness, nothing. I was shocked. I continue to oil pull and my teeth are whiter and healthier looking then they have ever been. My gums have stopped bleeding, they used to bleed after every brushing. They are no longer receding and my teeth feel tighter. On my last visit to the dentist he was amazed at how much better my teeth and gums looked. He told me to continue to do whatever I was doing.”

Oil pulling traces it roots to oil gargling practiced in Ayurvedic medicine. Oil pulling as we know it today, was introduced in 1992 by Dr. F. Karach, MD. Dr. Karach claimed that oil pulling could cure a variety of illnesses ranging from heart disease and digestive troubles to hormonal disorders. He said it cured him of a chronic blood disorder of 15 years duration and within three days it cured his arthritis, which at times was so painful he was bed ridden. He used the method in his medical practice with great success.

Dr. Karach’s method of oil pulling consists of swishing, not gargling, oil in the mouth. The oil is “worked” in the mouth by pushing, pulling, and drawing it through the teeth for a period of 15 to 20 minutes. It is done one to three times a day on an empty stomach. The best time is in the morning before eating breakfast, but can be done before any meal. The used oil is discarded and the mouth rinsed out with water. The oil is never swallowed because it is loaded with bacteria, toxins, pus, and mucous.

Sunflower and sesame seed oils are the most commonly used for oil pulling. People have had success with olive, coconut, almond, and other oils. I prefer to use coconut oil because of its many health benefits (anti-viral, anti-fungal properties). If you use a mild flavored coconut oil it is very pleasant in the mouth. Some oils, such as extra virgin olive oil, are so strong flavored that many people find them difficult to use.

The oil acts like a cleanser. When you put it in your mouth and work it around your teeth and gums it “pulls” out bacteria and other debris. It acts much like the oil you put in your car engine. The oil picks up dirt and grime. When you drain the oil, it pulls out the dirt and grime with it, leaving the engine relatively clean. Consequently, the engine runs smoother and lasts longer. Likewise, when we expel harmful substances from our bodies our health is improved and we run smoother and last longer.

As simple as it is, oil pulling has a very powerful detoxifying effect. Our mouths are the home to billions of bacteria, viruses, fungi and other parasites and their toxins. Candida and Streptococcus are common residents in our mouths. It is these types of germs and their toxic waste products that cause gum disease and tooth decay and contribute to many other health problems including arthritis and heart disease. Our immune system is constantly fighting these troublemakers. If our immune system becomes overloaded or burdened by excessive stress, poor diet, environmental toxins and such, these organisms can spread throughout the body causing secondary infections and chronic inflammation, leading to any number of health problems.

Oil pulling is one of the most remarkable methods of detoxification and healing I have ever experienced in my career as a naturopathic physician. It helped me overcome a chronic skin problem that other forms of detoxification, including numerous juice fasts lasting up to 30 days, were unable to cure.

Oil pulling can work its magic almost instantly. Some people report relief from certain conditions after doing it only once. Minor problems often clear up within a few days. More serious, chronic problems may require a few weeks or several months or more depending on lifestyle issues.

Toxins are pulled from the body the very first time you try it. One of the first cleansing symptoms you will experience is an increased flow of mucous from your throat and sinuses. Mucous drainage is one of the body’s methods of removing toxins. While you are pulling, mucous may build in the back of your throat. You may even have to expel the oil and clear the mucous from your throat before reaching a full 20 minutes. That’s okay, take another spoonful of oil and continue until you’ve pulled for a total of 15-20 minutes. You may also experience a little nausea and perhaps even need to vomit as your body expels toxic waste. Other symptoms may also arise temporarily. These symptoms will subside as your body becomes cleaner and you become more comfortable with oil pulling. Unlike other methods of detoxification that last for only a short time, oil pulling should become a regular part of your daily schedule, like brushing your teeth.

Oil pulling is incredibly effective in brightening teeth, healing gums, preventing bad breath, quenching inflammation, and healing oral infections. It is also effective in treating many systemic conditions throughout the body.

As good as it is, the simple oil pulling method described in this article isn’t always enough. Some people and some conditions require a little extra care. For this reason, I took oil pulling and developed it into a more complete, more effective method that I call Oil Pulling Therapy. This program incorporates medicated coconut oil (which you can make yourself), diet, select nutrients, oral pH balancing procedures, and, for those who have amalgam (mercury) fillings or metal crowns, a detox procedure designed specifically for removing heavy metals, all of which combine to greatly enhance the effects and healing properties of oil pulling. The details of this program are covered in my new book Oil Pulling Therapy: Detoxifying and Healing the Body Through Oral Cleansing.

Oil pulling is cheap; the only expense is for the oil you use. It is very easy; you simply swish oil in your mouth. Compared to other forms of detoxification it is relatively effortless. It doesn’t require dieting, fasting, or consuming unpleasant, and often bowel loosening, mixes of herbs and pills. And it is completely harmless. All you are doing is rinsing your mouth out with vegartable, nut or seed oil—a food. You’re not even swallowing the oil. What can be more benign than that? Nearly anyone can do it, regardless of their level of health. If you have health issues, don’t let the simplicity of oil pulling detour you from trying it. Sometimes the simplest procedures produce the greatest results. ■

Bone Broth....The Fountain of Youth?

Over the past year or so,since we began purchasing a side of beef directly from the farmer, I have researched and experimented on using "all the beef parts" that come with our amazing grass fed cow. Who knew you get all the Gifts With Purchase (Just like the cosmetics counter, ladies- and actually it works better at skin tissue repair than any cosmetics on the market!) Seriously, the more I continue to read on the benefits of traditional Primitive Bone Broth....the more I am inclined to think it should be a new food group with major therapeutic benefits.

Broth is made from bones with a cartilage coating at the ends, broth infuses your blood with molecules of collagen and glycosaminoglycan that affect your body in amazing ways. Researchers now use colleagen hydrosylate(hydrolysis- means breaking a protein apart using water molecules) to grow brand new organs from stem cells (stem cells are baby cells that can be grown into any type of cell)In your body, these molecules travel to worn out tissues where they make stem cells more plentiful, effectively reversing time in your tissues. This gives bone broths an ability to rejuvenate all your worn out bones, joints, connective tissues, and the structural supports for skin(gotta love this one girls!). Most of the tissues have low blood supply and would otherwise be unable to heal.Supplements containing Glucosamine and Chondroiten provide two members of this family of miraculous molecules, but bone broth contains the whole family and works far superior in whole food form.

Properly prepared, the broth is also highly nutritious, containing the minerals of bone, cartilage, marrow and vegetables as electrolytes, a form that is easy to assimilate. Acidic wine or vinegar added during cooking helps draw out dense minerals--particularly calcium, magnesium and potassium into the broth. Dr. Frances Pottenger, author of the famous cat studies as well as articles on the benefits of natural gelatin in in broth, pointed out that broth is of greatest value because of its supply of hydrophyllic colloids to the diet. Raw food compounds are colloidal and hydrophyllic, meaning they attract liquids. Thus, when we eat a salad or some other raw food, the hydrophyllic colloids attract digestive juices for rapid an effective digestion. Colloids that have been heated are generally hydrophobic--they repel liquids, making cooked food harder to digest. However, the proteinaceous gelatin in bone broths has the unusual property of attracting liquids--it is hydrophyllic--even after it has been heated. the same property from which gelatin attracts water to form desserts, like Jello, allows it to attract digestive juices to the surface of the foods.Consequently, gelatin acts first and formost as an aid to digestion and has been used succesfully to treat many intestinal disorders such as colitis and chrohns disease. Gelatin found in bone broth has also been used in the treatment of anemia, blood diseases, diabetes, muscular dystrophy and even some forms of cancer.Another notable component of the broth is cartilage, which has recently been used with remarkable results in treating rheumatoid arthritis.

Broths can be made from many different animal bones for various therapeutic benefits and flavors. We all know that chicken stock is the cure for the common cold, right? and did you know that iodine rich fish stock, using the bones and head (containing the thyroid gland) is also a Primitive treatment for symptoms of thyroid disease. So no matter what animal bones you use to make the broth, it is important to know "how the animal was raised"! Animals that were allowed to move about and enjoy their natural intended diet (what we should ALL be doing)build healthier bones and joints. Their bones and joints will become your bones and joints, so you will need them to be as healthy as possible.

Bone broth is made by slowly simmering lightly roasted bones together with a variety of fresh vegetables and some kind of acid like wine, tomatoes or vinegar to leach out the minerals. The boiling time depends on the diameter of the bonesand cow bones take the longest of most animals. The broth will wiggle like Jello when cool due to the gelatin content. And determined by how much of the collagen and glycosaminoglycan, the stiffer the broth will become when chilled. Most commercially made broths are made from meat not bones and will not provide the same benefit. You can freeze the broth for several months. Uses include, soup base, gravy/sauce base and even cooking your rice dishes in the broth....OR for you fellow grain free ladies, cook your cauliflower rice in the broth for a few minutes to absorb the flavor and many health benefits. So, get in touch with your local grass fed farmer to get some high quality bones and make your own fountain of youth elixir!

Coffee, Cafe, Java, Joe.........RECYCLE!

I recently shared some basic information on composting. One of the items that I put into my compost bed is coffee grounds. Coffee brings an acid balance to your green compost material. My friend happened to be at Starbucks in Austin an overheard them discussing that they offer they grounds to anyone who can use them....for FREE! So she gifted me with nearly 30lbs of grounds. The smell was amazing (if you like the smell of coffee, that is!) I wanted to research a bit about the ratio of coffee grounds that can be tolerated. I assume that TOO much of a good thing is never positive, right? I quickly learned that its not just the compost bed that will benefit....but there were so many more uses from tossing across your lawn as a natural fertilizer to using it as an anti-cellulite pack or scrub. I knew all the high end beauty products that fight cellulite- use caffeine. So, I will be hitting my local Starbucks a few times a week for my dose of grounds to recycle, reuse and replenish. Nourish the earth....and smoother skin, NATURALLY? Now thats how a Primitive Diva does it! So here is a bit more information I found that I wanted to share.

From Natural News: After brewing coffee, coffee grounds are often tossed into the trash bin. Some people regard the group of squeezed coffee beans as worthless items. If they only knew the alternative uses for coffee grounds, they would probably store the used beans in their cupboards.

Coffee grounds have many other uses aside from producing coffee. They can be used for gardening, repelling insects, and even as pet grooming products. Just by using these supposed waste products, the need to buy some household products can be instantly eliminated. Best of all, the use of coffee grounds is environment-friendly. You better think twice if you plan to throw away your next batch of coffee grounds. Here are 11 of the best reasons why used coffee grounds are worth keeping:

1.Compost Material – Coffee grounds fit the standards set by gardeners for compost materials. The grounds, when mixed with soil, release nutrients that make the ground richer and more acidic. Plants that flourish in acidic soil will be healthier since they can get the needed nourishment from the ground. If you have a good supply of coffee grounds, just spread them evenly in your garden. Your plants will reward you by producing robust blooms.

2.Pet Grooming Solution – Mix coffee ground extract with some water and the result is a nice grooming solution for pets. After a few rubs, the solution softens your pet’s fur, giving it a nice sheen. Some people even claim that the solution keeps fleas and other parasites off your pet, though it still needs testing for it to be considered a fact.

3.Fridge Deodorizer – Storing different types of food inside the fridge can produce a nasty mixture of odors. Remove those pungent smells with a bowl filled with coffee grounds. Place the bowl inside your fridge and your coffee ground deodorizer will gradually absorb all unwanted scents. If your fridge is packed with stored food, just add more grounds and a few drops of vanilla to your deodorizer so that it can absorb more odors.

4.No Place for Pet Litter – You can keep your pet from defecating in your garden if you spread a mixture of coffee grounds and orange peels around the area. Your pets will find the scent of the mixture too exotic for their defecating standards.

5.Skin Exfoliant – Rubbing your skin with coffee ground extract seems silly but it is actually a good idea. The extract removes dead skin cells, which results in better-looking skin. It can save you hundreds of dollars since this simple product can practically replacesseveral pricey sessions with your dermatologist.

6.Shoe Deodorizer – Active people and smelly feet are often associated with each other. Break away from the norm by placing used coffee grounds in your shoes. It will not relieve you of foul-smelling feet, but it will certainly get rid of the evidence. Now, if you want to truly remove foot odor, you can always wash your feet with water and coffee ground extract.

7.Hair Shine Solution – Let’s face it, everyone wants to have shiny and bouncy hair. Some people spend significant amounts of cash just to make their hair look better. You can look no further than your supply of used coffee grounds to give you softer and shinier hair. Just wash your hair with the coffee byproduct and rinse. You will soon sport your favorite celebrity hairstyle after a few strokes.

8.Ant Repellent – Ants can be annoying, especially if they manage to make their way to your bath towel or clothes. You can avoid these tiny pests by rubbing coffee grounds on your closet. For some reason, ants dislike the scent and the properties of coffee ground extract.

9.Fireplace Dust Regulator – Fireplace dust is always a big obstacle for someone who cleans the fireplace. Large dust formations can sting your eyes and irritate your sinuses. They can also make the surrounding areas dirty. To properly regulate dust, you can toss a handful of wet coffee grounds in your fireplace after operation. The wet grounds will hold the dust in place, lessening the appearance of dust clouds when cleaning the fireplace.

10.Coloring Ingredient – If you combine coffee ground extract with hot water, you can create brown dye for fabrics, art works and other applications. You can also mix the extract with henna to produce brown-colored henna tattoos.

11.Scratch Remover – Coffee ground extract can erase scratches after several forceful scrubs. Its thick slippery base, when coupled with a rug, topples the foundations of most scratches. The scratches eventually fade in the process.
You can use coffee grounds as unconventional product substitutes for many household activities. With their wide variety of uses, you can say that they’re even more useful than their ungrounded counterparts.

Lets get WILD and expand our mind.....!

In April, I will be starting a blog, twitter and facebook based book study for women on ....."Women Who Run With Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. This is such a profound and life changing book, that offers wisdom, insight and love. I want to share it with my fellow Diva's. I have put a link to purchase it through my bookstore....but, look online for used copies, kindle editions or check it out at your local library. This is a DEEPLY spiritual book....that honors what is tough, smart an untamed in women. It embraces the strong feminine spirit that is innate in all of us.

Within every woman there lives a powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity. and ageless knowing. She is the Wild Woman, who represents the instinctual nature of women. But she is an endangered species. For though the gifts of wildish nature belong to us at birth, society's attempt to "civilize" us into rigid roles has muffled the deep, life giving messages of our own souls. In "Women Who Run With Wolves", Dr. Estes unfolds rich intercultural myths, fairy tales, and stories, many from her own family, in order to help women reconnect with the fierce, healthy, visionary attributes of this instinctual nature. Through the stories and commentaries in this remarkable book, we retrieve, examine, love and understand the Wild Woman. and hold her against our deep psyches as one who is both magic and medicine. Dr. Estes has created a new lexicon for describing the female psyche. Fertile and life giving, it is a psychology of women in the TRUEST sense, a knowing of the soul!

I am looking forward to sharing this empowerment with you all.....here is the link: It cost less than two Starbucks Lattes and it will free you~ Enjoy! Study starts on the Primitive Diva fan page on April 1st, 2011!

Nourish the EARTH.....!

We are bombarded in the Nutrition profession about an ever increasing need of vitamin/mineral supplementation, for maintaining good basic health, avoiding deficiencies and strengthening immunity. This need is due to the inferior nutrient density of our current commercially raised produce. Have you ever pondered why this is,and how we can change that? Well, I have and its about (you guessed it) being more primitive, like our ancestors. What do you suppose they did with organic waste materials.....no garbage "disposal o matic" built in next to their fresh water streams. They would have allowed it to settle back into the natural cycle of our earth. We too can easily begin to replenish our soil and hopefully stop the ravaging and depletion activities that we seem so ignorantly engaged in. One of my favorite quotes, that I share often, and is VERY relevant to todays blog. I actually have this framed on my desk for a reminder (its more than being chic, eco-saavy and green. Its imperative that we take a new perspective):

We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors,
we borrow it from our Children.

Being primitive is more than just how we eat it is just as important to incorporate this into a foundation of our lifestyle. I will be including an entire chapter of the step by step guide to composting in my book.Like how to build your own compost bin, the importance of layering brown, green and neutral scraps for the optimal composition of nutrients, nitogen and carbon. In the meantime, I did want to share a brief insight on the topic to get you thinking on the right path for spring. Turning garbage into SUPER soil is easier than you think. If you've got food scraps and a pitchfork your halfway there.

There are many benefits to starting your own compost pile and nourishing the earth, whether your end goal is a lower environmental impact, a better garden, or just a green, lush lawn. Compost provides benefits to soil it's used in, improving moisture absorption and drainage. This is especially true if your soil is of poor quality. That means that by using compost in your garden, you can grow more plants in soils they wouldn't ordinarily be suited for. While compost isn't a particularly effective fertilizer on its own, the reduction in runoff that results from its use makes existing fertilizers (both natural and chemical) a lot more effective. Fertilizer contamination of water is also significantly reduced.

The environmental benefits of using compost are significant. Making use of this material can help clean up contaminated soil, reducing runoff of toxic materials and binding some toxins. Compost can help reduce erosion on lake, stream, and river banks, as well as along roads. Composting also makes use of materials that would otherwise be waste, including food scraps, yard clippings, small animal bedding and much more.

Economic benefits of composting include reduction in the cost of fertilizer and other materials required for healthy plant production. This material is cheaper than using artificial soil, and helps cities and communities be environmentally responsible. You don't have to be a town or municipality to start a compost pile, however. Anyone can make one in their own backyard, using "brown" matter - leaves, grass clippings, shredded paper, and similar materials - mixed with "green" matter - vegetable waste and the like. Make sure to keep your pile where it won't be accessible to scavengers, such as rats and opossums, and avoid including animal products and waste from meat eating pets in the pile. Otherwise, it can produce an unpleasant smell and attract pets. If you maintain your compost pile carefully, you'll be able to dispose of materials you'd otherwise have to throw out, and the reward will be great material for helping your plants grow.

You'll know your compost is finished once it's dark, crumbly, and has no additional smell. You may see worms, snails, or slugs in the pile. The former can be a great addition to your garden. The latter two should be removed as well as you can before adding compost to your plants, because they eat plant matter. Fortunately, the compost pile provides them with a steady supply of food, keeping them out of the lettuce. You can spread compost around trees, on flower beds and vegetable gardens, and even on top of the lawn. Don't make it too thick on top of already growing plants, and it will quickly sink down to become part of the dirt. Enjoy the great benefits of composting and start your own compost pile today.

Quench your thirst......with the most primitive H2o!

In my process of trying to live a more pure and Primitive life. I have begun a search for truly clean and unprocessed water. Water that nature has provided and we have not destroyed. I wanted to impress upon you the importance of hydration....but hydration from clean and nourishing resources. Lets look at the differences.

Water is the most basic part of any good nutrition plan, but how do you know what kind of water is the best to drink? Learn about the differences between tap, spring, artisian and purified water. Should you drink spring or pure water and what are there health benefits of spring water?

When it comes to water, the choices seem overwhelming. Do I go out in search of a fresh spring? Is bottled water safe to drink? What about artesian water? Can I just get the stuff from my tap? So many questions...where do you even begin? Hopefully I can help!

Tap Water:
Much of the population drink water straight from the tap. It seems like a safe option at first glance. It's been through the treatment plant and is supposedly safe, but is the treatment process worse than if it had been untreated? It is treated with chlorine to kill all of the bad bacteria and parasites. We ingest the chlorine and it ends up killing off the good bacteria that is needed to create good colon health. Not only this, but city water has fluoride added which has been studied largely as a possible link to cancer. Not only this, but many traces of pharmaceutical drugs have been found in tap water. Looking at this information closely, tap water seems to be a less than optimal choice for drinking water.

Purified Water:
Purified water is simply water from the tap that has been filtered and in some cases it has been filtered extensively. As far as contaminants go this seems to be a good option. The chlorine and fluoride are filtered out as well as the traces of pharmaceuticals. This is definitely a superior option to tap water. The downfall is that this water is void of essential minerals that we get from our water. It is also a dead form of water as opposed to water that comes from the ground that is actually "living". In the natural health world, the secret to health and longevity is always living foods like vegetables and fruits straight from the garden and sprouted nuts and seeds that have been brought our of their dormant state to a living state.

Artesian Water:
Artisan water comes from an aquifer below the ground where water flows between layers of rock. The water pressure is very high. It is possible to drill down through deep layers of rock and access the water table. When this is done, the artesian water will rise to the surface and flow continuously. The water is filtered through layers of rock before it rises to the surface. One downfall of artesian water is that it is brought prematurely to the land surface. Some say that the water is not yet fully ready to be consumed as it still has hard minerals in it that are not suitable for human consumption.

Spring Water:
The health benefits of spring water have been widely known for centuries. People travel miles to obtain pure, fresh spring water. Natural spring water rises to the land surface naturally. Some health experts feel that this means it is ready to be consumed as opposed to the artesian water that is brought to the surface prematurely. Spring water contains antioxidants and is a natural anti-inflammatory agent. Spring water is alive as is artesian water. When it comes straight from the ground it has nourishing qualities that are not present in purified water. One thing to be cautious of when drinking spring water is that it could contain contaminants and therefore should be tested before consumption.

When making the decision of whether to drink spring or pure water which has been taken from a tap and simply purified, remember that the purified water has been stripped of many of the essential nutrients and qualities that can only be obtained from pure ground water.

Here is a write up from my one of my most respected Health Heroes, Daniel Vitalis. About his new online database. www.findaspring.com

Find A Spring is a project born out of my personal passion for the Springs of the Earth, and a sincere desire to see people not just healthier, but more connected to a life immersed in the nourishment of the elemental!

Most of the Westernized humans on Earth have never even tasted Wild Water. This shocking understanding leads us to conclude that most of humanity is made of Domesticated water! That’s right, nearly every person you have ever met has only ever drank treated tap water or treated bottled water! Even most wells are treated with a “softener”.
When I first came to this realization about my own Water I began a sincere quest to drink exclusively from the Wild Springs of the Earth…. This has been, far and away, the most trans-formative practice I have ever taken on! After a couple of years of drinking exclusively Wild Water, I created FindASpring.com ~ a website dedicated to helping others find their way back to Wild Water!
Find A Spring is a user built database of Wild Springs all over the world. The Google Map function allows you to quickly locate Spring Water wherever you are! Simply scroll your mouse over the desired location to reveal Springs in that area. The Find A Spring database is user built, so if you know of a Spring that is not listed there, please submit it so that others may drink from these Living Waters too!
I encourage you to find your way back to the Wild,
and most importantly back to Wild Water!
